EFET
Established in 1999, the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) is an industry association representing over 80 trading companies operating in about 20 countries.
The EFET mission involves improving conditions for energy trading in Europe and fostering the development of an open, liquid and transparent European wholesale energy market.
The European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) is designed to improve conditions for energy trading in Europe and provide an exchange for non-commercially sensitive information between organisations and members of the developing pan-European energy industry. AFEER
The Association of Electricity Suppliers in Romania is a nonprofit, independent, nongovernmental interprofessional association, whose main purpose is to define and support a common position of its members in matters related to the electricity supplying industry, as well as to represent its member electricity suppliers in front of the administration authorities and bodies with competences related to the electricity supplying industry, both in Romania and abroad, including for improving communication among social partners in approaching the matters related to the electricity supplying industry. www.afeer.ro
ERRA
The Energy Regulators Regional Associations is a voluntary organization comprised of independent regulatory bodies of Central/Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Currently it lists 23 full, 3 associate and 3 affiliate members each representing energy regulatory organizations of the CEE/SEE and CIS region. www.erranet.org
ETSO
The European Association of Electricity Transmission System Operators (ETSO) is an association of Transmission Systems Operators (TSOs) in Europe providing grid access to the electricity market players (i.e. generating companies, traders, suppliers, distributors and directly connected customers) according to non-discriminatory and transparent rules. The Association has full direct membership of 36 independent TSO companies and 2 association members. The networks represented by ETSO supply more than 450 million people with electric energy. The consumption of electric energy amounts to approx. 3200 TWh per year.

GIE
Gas Infrastructure Europe represents the infrastructure operators in the field of natural gas in Europe and currently has 60 members in 27 European countries. GIE is the umbrella organisation for Gas Transmission Europe (GTE) representing the transmission system operators, Gas Storage Europe (GSE) representing the storage system operators and Gas LNG Europe (GLE) representing the LNG terminal operators. The main objectives of GIE are to promote cooperation among natural gas infrastructure operators, to contribute to the development of a safe and reliable European natural gas transmission, storage and LNG system suitable for meeting present and future needs, and the development of a fully operational European internal gas market. www.gie.eu.com
MVKE
The Association of Hungarian Electricity Traders (MVKE) was founded at the end of 2003 by eight electricity trader companies. The main mission of the Association is to represent the professional interests towards the market players and authorities. By now, MVKE has 20 member companies, and has decided to play a massive part in the development of the fully liberalised electricity market, therefore is willing to help working out better regulation. www.mvke.hu
NAET
The Nordic Association of Electricity Traders is a non-profit organization established in 1996 by companies active in the Nordic Power Market. NAET’s mission is “to make the world’s best power market better”. TOE
The Association of Energy Trading (TOE) is a voluntary self-governing and apolitical non-profitable assocation created at the end of 2003 in Poland. The Association of Energy Trading has of 60 ordinary members (natural persons) and 26 supporting members (energy trading companies). The Assocation of Energy Trading has been taking an active part in shaping the Polish energy market.
